The Survival of New Orleans blog

Michael Barnett at The Interdictor blog is reporting on current conditions from a high-rise in downtown New Orleans. He and a handful of others are striving to feed diesel fuel into their massive generator to keep their ISP accessible and online. They are posting photos and interviews from federal and police staff that give a close-up view into conditions there as they unfold.

Michael has an IRC channel open and a live cam that is on throughout the day and night. Comments are flooding in. He's calling it the "Survival of New Orleans" blog.
